ACTIVITIES SNAPSHOT™ SERVICE AGREEMENT

Please read this agreement carefully before purchasing services from LaunchPoint Consulting LLC. By purchasing services from LaunchPoint Consulting LLC, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms outlined below.

Client Services Agreement

This Client Services Agreement ("Agreement") is entered into between LaunchPoint Consulting LLC ("LaunchPoint," "Company," "we," or "us") and the parent or legal guardian completing registration ("Client," "you," or "your") on behalf of the participating student ("Student").

This Agreement becomes effective upon the Client's acceptance of these terms during registration and completion of payment for LaunchPoint services. By purchasing Activities Snapshot™, the Client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to be bound by the terms of this Agreement.

1. Scope of Services

Activities Snapshot™ is a personalized written diagnostic of the Student's Common Application activities list, built from information submitted by the Student.

The service includes:

  • One intake form, completed by the Student (with the Client copied), listing up to ten activities as they would appear on the Common Application

  • LaunchPoint's individualized review of the submitted activities

  • A delivered report, provided within 2 business days of intake form submission, containing a strength ranking (Strong, Needs Work, or Consider Cutting) for each submitted activity, one fully reframed example description demonstrating LaunchPoint's approach, and a short explanation of the reframing method used

Activities Snapshot™ is a written diagnostic only. It does not include a live session, verbal consultation, or any coaching beyond what is contained in the delivered report.

2. Services Not Included

The following are not included in Activities Snapshot™ unless purchased separately:

  • Reframed or rewritten descriptions for any activities beyond the single demonstration example

  • Any live session, call, or verbal consultation

  • Essay drafting, coaching, or editing of any kind

  • Review of the Student's personal statement or any other part of the application

  • College selection, college list development, or admissions strategy consulting

Common App Strategy & Support, the Personal Statement Intensive™, and other LaunchPoint programs are not included and must be purchased separately.

3. Fees and Payment

Client agrees to pay the fee in effect at the time of purchase for Activities Snapshot™.

Payment is due in full at the time of purchase. The Student's intake form will not be reviewed until payment has been successfully received.

Because Activities Snapshot™ is a personalized digital deliverable created specifically for the Student, refunds are not available once the Student has submitted the intake form and LaunchPoint has begun the individualized review.

If Client requests cancellation before the Student has submitted the intake form, a full refund will be issued.

4. No Guarantee of Admission

Client and Student acknowledge and agree that LaunchPoint makes no promise, guarantee, or warranty, express or implied, that working with LaunchPoint will result in admission, acceptance, or any scholarship or other outcome at any college, university, or program. Admissions decisions are made solely by the institutions to which the Student ultimately applies and depend on many factors outside LaunchPoint's control. LaunchPoint's role is limited to the diagnostic service described in Section 1, and the Fee is paid for the service provided by LaunchPoint, not for any particular admissions result or activity ranking.

5. Client and Student Responsibilities

Student is responsible for completing the intake form thoughtfully and accurately, as the quality and usefulness of Activities Snapshot™ depends entirely on the Student's own submitted information.

Client and Student are solely responsible for any decisions made regarding which activities to include, cut, or how to revise activity descriptions, whether guided by Activities Snapshot™ or otherwise.

Incomplete or minimal intake form responses may limit the depth and usefulness of the delivered report.

6. Ownership of Materials

The Student's activities, experiences, and submitted information remain the Student's property.

The delivered Activities Snapshot™ report is provided for the personal use of the Client and Student and may not be copied, distributed, reproduced, shared, sold, published, or used for any commercial purpose without the prior written consent of LaunchPoint.

All LaunchPoint frameworks, templates, and diagnostic methodology used to create Activities Snapshot™ remain the sole property of LaunchPoint Consulting LLC. Nothing in this Agreement transfers ownership of LaunchPoint's intellectual property to the Client or Student.

7. Confidentiality

LaunchPoint will make reasonable efforts to maintain the confidentiality of personal, academic, and family information shared by Client or Student in connection with the services provided under this Agreement.

LaunchPoint will not knowingly disclose such information to third parties except:

  • As reasonably necessary to provide services to the Student;

  • With the Client's consent;

  • As required by law; or

  • As necessary to protect the safety or well-being of the Student or others.

Client and Student acknowledge that electronic communications, online intake forms, and digital delivery, while generally secure, cannot be guaranteed to be completely free from unauthorized access or security risks.

8. Term and Delivery

This Agreement becomes effective upon purchase and payment and remains in effect until the Activities Snapshot™ report has been delivered.

LaunchPoint will deliver the completed Activities Snapshot™ within 2 business days of the Student's intake form submission. If LaunchPoint is unable to meet this timeframe due to unforeseen circumstances, Client will be notified and offered a revised delivery date or a full refund.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, LaunchPoint Consulting LLC's total liability to Client arising out of or relating to this Agreement or the services provided under this Agreement shall not exceed the amount paid by Client for Activities Snapshot™.

LaunchPoint shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to damages related to admissions outcomes, scholarship decisions, activity selection choices, lost opportunities, lost profits, emotional distress, or other losses arising from or related to use of Activities Snapshot™.

Client acknowledges that participation in LaunchPoint services is voluntary and that all decisions regarding activities, essays, college applications, admissions, scholarships, and educational opportunities remain the sole responsibility of Client and Student.

10. Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.

11. Entire Agreement

This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between LaunchPoint and Client regarding the services described herein and supersedes any prior discussions or agreements, written or oral. This Agreement may be amended only in writing signed by both parties.

12. Agreement to Terms

By checking the required agreement box during purchase and completing payment, Client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to be bound by the terms of this Agreement.

Client further acknowledges that they are the parent or legal guardian of the participating Student and have the authority to enter into this Agreement on the Student's behalf.

Electronic acceptance of this Agreement through LaunchPoint's registration and checkout process shall have the same force and effect as a signed writing.
