HOURLY STRATEGY SESSION SERVICE AGREEMENT

Please read this agreement carefully before purchasing services from LaunchPoint Consulting LLC. By purchasing services from LaunchPoint Consulting LLC, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms outlined below.

Client Services Agreement

This Client Services Agreement ("Agreement") is entered into between LaunchPoint Consulting LLC ("LaunchPoint," "Company," "we," or "us") and the parent or legal guardian completing registration ("Client," "you," or "your") on behalf of the participating student ("Student").

This Agreement becomes effective upon the Client's acceptance of these terms during registration and completion of payment for LaunchPoint services. By purchasing an Hourly Strategy Session, the Client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to be bound by the terms of this Agreement.

1. Scope of Services

The Hourly Strategy Session is a flexible, add-on support service available to families for needs not covered under a standard LaunchPoint Path session or program.

The service includes:

  • One 60-minute live virtual session with a LaunchPoint consultant (Jennifer Wright or Heather Jahr), scheduled at a mutually agreed time

Because the content of an Hourly Strategy Session varies by family need, LaunchPoint does not guarantee specific deliverables, written materials, or outcomes beyond the live session itself unless otherwise agreed in writing prior to booking.

The Hourly Strategy Session is not a substitute for Freshman Explore™, Sophomore Develop™, Junior Align™, or the Personal Statement Intensive™, and does not include any of the pre-session preparation, written deliverables, or structured process associated with those programs.

The session is conducted virtually through Google Meet or another platform designated by LaunchPoint.

2. Services Not Included

The following are not included in an Hourly Strategy Session unless purchased separately:

  • Pre-session questionnaires, diagnostics, or individualized preparation

  • Written Strategic Profile™ updates, roadmaps, or blueprints

  • Essay coaching, drafting, or editing of any kind

  • College selection, college list development, or admissions strategy consulting beyond what is discussed live during the session

  • Any additional sessions beyond the single hour purchased

Additional hours must be purchased separately. LaunchPoint reserves the right to recommend a structured Path session or program in place of an Hourly Strategy Session where appropriate, at LaunchPoint's discretion.

3. Fees and Payment

Client agrees to pay the fee in effect at the time of purchase for the Hourly Strategy Session.

Payment is due in full at the time of booking. A session is not reserved until payment has been successfully received.

Because LaunchPoint reserves session time for each booking, refunds are not available once the session has taken place.

Requests for cancellation prior to the scheduled session may be submitted in writing and will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis at LaunchPoint's sole discretion. LaunchPoint reserves the right to require advance notice (such as 24 hours) for cancellations or rescheduling; any such notice period will be communicated at the time of booking.

Failure to attend the scheduled session does not automatically entitle Client to a refund, credit, or make-up session. Any requests related to missed sessions will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis at LaunchPoint's sole discretion.

4. No Guarantee of Admission

Client and Student acknowledge and agree that LaunchPoint makes no promise, guarantee, or warranty, express or implied, that working with LaunchPoint will result in admission, acceptance, or any scholarship or other outcome at any college, university, or program. Admissions decisions are made solely by the institutions to which the Student ultimately applies and depend on many factors outside LaunchPoint's control. LaunchPoint's role is limited to the services described in Section 1, and the Fee is paid for the services provided by LaunchPoint, not for any particular admissions result.

5. Client and Student Responsibilities

Client and Student agree to attend the scheduled session and, where applicable, provide any relevant materials or context in advance so LaunchPoint can make effective use of the session time.

Client and Student are solely responsible for ensuring that any decisions made regarding academic planning, extracurricular involvement, essays, or applications comply with the policies of the Student's school and any institutions to which the Student may apply.

6. Ownership of Materials

The Student's reflections, experiences, and ideas remain the Student's property.

Any materials, frameworks, or resources shared by LaunchPoint during an Hourly Strategy Session remain the sole property of LaunchPoint Consulting LLC and may not be copied, distributed, reproduced, shared, sold, published, or used for any commercial purpose without the prior written consent of LaunchPoint.

7. Confidentiality

LaunchPoint will make reasonable efforts to maintain the confidentiality of personal, academic, and family information shared by Client or Student in connection with the services provided under this Agreement.

LaunchPoint will not knowingly disclose such information to third parties except:

  • As reasonably necessary to provide services to the Student;

  • With the Client's consent;

  • As required by law; or

  • As necessary to protect the safety or well-being of the Student or others.

Client and Student acknowledge that electronic communications and virtual meeting platforms, while generally secure, cannot be guaranteed to be completely free from unauthorized access or security risks.

8. Term, Cancellation, and Refunds

This Agreement becomes effective upon booking and payment and remains in effect until the session described in Section 1 has been completed.

Because LaunchPoint reserves session time for each booking, refunds are not available once the session has taken place.

Requests for cancellation prior to the scheduled session may be submitted in writing and will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis at LaunchPoint's sole discretion.

LaunchPoint reserves the right to cancel, postpone, or reschedule a session due to illness, emergency, technical issues, or other unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, Client will be offered the option to reschedule or receive a full refund.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, LaunchPoint Consulting LLC's total liability to Client arising out of or relating to this Agreement or the services provided under this Agreement shall not exceed the amount paid by Client for the applicable session.

LaunchPoint shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to damages related to admissions outcomes, scholarship decisions, lost opportunities, lost profits, emotional distress, or other losses arising from or related to participation in LaunchPoint services.

Client acknowledges that participation in LaunchPoint services is voluntary and that all decisions regarding academic planning, college applications, admissions, scholarships, and educational opportunities remain the sole responsibility of Client and Student.

10. Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.

11. Entire Agreement

This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between LaunchPoint and Client regarding the services described herein and supersedes any prior discussions or agreements, written or oral. This Agreement may be amended only in writing signed by both parties.

12. Agreement to Terms

By checking the required agreement box during booking and completing payment, Client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to be bound by the terms of this Agreement.

Client further acknowledges that they are the parent or legal guardian of the participating Student and have the authority to enter into this Agreement on the Student's behalf.

Electronic acceptance of this Agreement through LaunchPoint's registration and checkout process shall have the same force and effect as a signed written agreement.
