Personal Statement Intensive™ Service Agreement

1. Services Included

The Personal Statement Intensive™ provides individualized support for the student’s main college application personal statement. The service includes topic and story development, feedback during drafting and revision, and final polish.

The service is delivered in either a live or self-paced format, as determined by LaunchPoint. The purchase includes one format, not both.

Supplemental essays, Common App Activities and Honors support, college list strategy, application submission, and services not listed above are not included unless separately agreed to in writing.

2. Student and Family Responsibilities

The student and family agree to provide accurate information and materials, respond to requests in a timely manner, and review the essay carefully.

The student is responsible for the essay’s ideas and final content. LaunchPoint provides guidance and editing support while preserving the student’s voice. The family remains responsible for submitting the essay and meeting college deadlines.

3. Scheduling and Delivery

For the live format, meetings are scheduled in coordination with the family and are subject to availability. Please contact LaunchPoint as soon as possible to request a reschedule.

For the self-paced format, materials and feedback are delivered through the process provided by LaunchPoint. The family is responsible for following the instructions and timelines shared for the service.

4. Payment

Payment in full is due at checkout. The price is the amount displayed when the service is purchased. Current pricing is $499 through May 31, 2027, and $599 beginning June 1, 2027.

5. Cancellations and Refunds

Because this service includes individualized review and preparation, it becomes nonrefundable once LaunchPoint begins work on the student’s materials or otherwise begins individualized preparation.

If LaunchPoint is unable to provide the purchased service, the family will be offered an appropriate rescheduling option or a refund for services not provided.

6. CounselMore Tracking

CounselMore access and application deadline tracking are not included with the Personal Statement Intensive™.

7. No Guarantees

LaunchPoint does not guarantee admission, scholarships, financial aid, or any particular application outcome. Recommendations and feedback are intended to support the student’s writing and planning.
