College List Strategy™ · Grades 11–12

Every college on the list should earn its place.

Each application costs your student time, money, and attention. We build or refine a focused college list around the student, the schools, and your family’s practical priorities.

How it works

From a collection of names to a list your family can use.

Tell us about your student’s academics, interests, possible majors, college preferences, and practical family priorities. We review any existing list and research additional options when appropriate.

01 · Share

Tell us about the student.

Complete a focused intake covering academics, interests, possible majors, preferences, constraints, and current college ideas.

02 · Research

We evaluate the options.

Jennifer and Heather personally review the profile, assess the current list, identify gaps, and research colleges worth considering.

03 · Use

You receive the strategy.

Your written brief explains the recommendations, questions to investigate, and practical next steps.

Questions parents ask

What to expect.

What if my student has no list yet?

That is fine. The intake gives us what we need to begin with the student rather than a collection of college names.

What if we already have a long list?

We evaluate the existing list, identify weak fits or gaps, and help your family focus on the colleges that deserve more research.

Does this tell us where my student will be admitted?

No. We use current published information and the student’s profile to provide admissions context and create a more thoughtful, balanced list.

Your student does not need more college names. Your family needs better reasons.

Build a focused list around the student, the schools, and the realities that will shape the final decision.
