Your Questions, Answered
-
We schedule each cohort around the students in it. Once you apply and share your availability, we’ll confirm dates that work for your family. July cohorts are forming now. Spots are limited to 5-6 students each.
-
Not always.
Many students benefit from starting with the Personal Statement Intensive to build clarity and direction. However, for students who have already begun or have a working draft, we’re happy to recommend the best starting point based on where they are in the process.
-
That’s completely fine.
The Personal Statement Intensive is designed for students who are starting from the beginning or feel unsure about what to write. It provides structure, direction, and a strong starting point.
-
That’s a great place to begin.
Students with an existing draft may benefit from either refining their narrative through the intensive or moving into more targeted support, depending on how developed their ideas are. We’ll help guide that decision.
-
Our 1:1 support focuses on helping students apply their narrative across the rest of the application.
This includes:
supplemental essay strategy and feedback
activities and honors section positioning
alignment across the full application
Support is structured over a 4–6 week window and includes both scheduled sessions and written feedback.
-
Our standard support includes up to five schools.
This allows us to work thoughtfully with each student while maintaining a high level of quality and attention.
-
As timelines become more compressed, support shifts to an expedited model based on availability.
We’ll always be transparent about what is realistic and what level of support we can provide within the remaining time.
-
We do not typically work on an hourly basis.
Our work is structured to ensure students move through a clear, cohesive process rather than piecing support together.
In limited cases, we may offer targeted support depending on fit and availability.
-
Our work is a combination of small-group experiences and individualized support, depending on the offering.
We prioritize thoughtful guidance, clear feedback, and structured progress so students always know what they are working toward.
-
The best place to begin is by reaching out.
We’ll learn more about your student, answer any questions, and recommend a clear starting point based on where they are in the process.
START WITH A CONVERSATION
We work with a limited number of students so we can guide each one thoughtfully.
