SELF-PACED STORY STUDIO™ SERVICE AGREEMENT

Please read this agreement carefully before purchasing services from LaunchPoint Consulting LLC. By purchasing services from LaunchPoint Consulting LLC, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms outlined below.

Client Services Agreement

This Client Services Agreement ("Agreement") is entered into between LaunchPoint Consulting LLC ("LaunchPoint," "Company," "we," or "us") and the parent or legal guardian completing registration ("Client," "you," or "your") on behalf of the participating student ("Student").

This Agreement becomes effective upon the Client's acceptance of these terms during registration and completion of payment for LaunchPoint services. By purchasing Self-Paced Story Studio™, the Client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to be bound by the terms of this Agreement.

1. Scope of Services

Self-Paced Story Studio™ is a self-paced video course teaching the core personal statement strategy used in LaunchPoint's live Personal Statement Intensive™, delivered by Jenny Wright and Heather Jahr.

The service includes:

• Access to a series of instructional videos covering the core strategy and thinking process used to identify a compelling personal statement direction

• A written summary of up to 3 possible essay ideas for the Student, generated from the Student's course activity and any associated intake materials

• Unlimited personal viewing access to the video content for the Client and Student

Self-Paced Story Studio™ is an instructional and self-guided service only. It does not include a workbook, a context strip, live coaching, verbal consultation, or any review of the Student's actual writing or application materials.

2. Services Not Included

The following are not included in Self-Paced Story Studio™ unless purchased separately:

• Any live session, call, or verbal consultation with Jenny or Heather

• A personalized workbook or context strip

• Essay drafting, coaching, feedback, or editing of any kind

• Review of the Student's actual personal statement, drafts, or application materials

• College selection, college list development, or admissions strategy consulting

The Personal Statement Intensive™, Story Blueprint™, Common App Strategy & Support, and other LaunchPoint programs are not included and must be purchased separately.

3. Fees and Payment

Client agrees to pay the fee in effect at the time of purchase for Self-Paced Story Studio™.

Payment is due in full at the time of purchase. Course access will not be granted until payment has been successfully received.

Because Self-Paced Story Studio™ provides immediate digital access to course content, refunds are not available once access has been granted, except as required by law.

If Client requests cancellation before course access has been granted, a full refund will be issued.

4. No Guarantee of Admission

Client and Student acknowledge and agree that LaunchPoint makes no promise, guarantee, or warranty, express or implied, that working with LaunchPoint will result in admission, acceptance, or any scholarship or other outcome at any college, university, or program. Admissions decisions are made solely by the institutions to which the Student ultimately applies and depend on many factors outside LaunchPoint's control. LaunchPoint's role is limited to the instructional service described in Section 1, and the Fee is paid for the service provided by LaunchPoint, not for any particular admissions result or essay topic.

5. Client and Student Responsibilities

Student is responsible for engaging thoughtfully with the course content, as the usefulness of the suggested essay ideas depends on the Student's own engagement and any information provided.

Client and Student are solely responsible for any decisions made regarding which essay direction to pursue, whether guided by Self-Paced Story Studio™ or otherwise.

Client and Student acknowledge that Self-Paced Story Studio™ does not include review of the Student's actual writing, and that responsibility for drafting, developing, and finalizing the Student's personal statement rests solely with the Client and Student unless a separate LaunchPoint service is purchased.

6. Ownership of Materials

The Student's own ideas, experiences, and any materials submitted by the Student remain the Student's property.

All video content, course materials, frameworks, and methodology delivered as part of Self-Paced Story Studio™ are provided for the personal use of the Client and Student and may not be copied, distributed, reproduced, shared, sold, published, or used for any commercial purpose without the prior written consent of LaunchPoint.

All LaunchPoint frameworks, teaching content, and methodology used in Self-Paced Story Studio™ remain the sole property of LaunchPoint Consulting LLC. Nothing in this Agreement transfers ownership of LaunchPoint's intellectual property to the Client or Student.

7. Confidentiality

LaunchPoint will make reasonable efforts to maintain the confidentiality of personal, academic, and family information shared by Client or Student in connection with the services provided under this Agreement.

LaunchPoint will not knowingly disclose such information to third parties except:

• As reasonably necessary to provide services to the Student;

• With the Client's consent;

• As required by law; or

• As necessary to protect the safety or well-being of the Student or others.

Client and Student acknowledge that electronic communications, online course platforms, and digital delivery, while generally secure, cannot be guaranteed to be completely free from unauthorized access or security risks.

8. Term and Delivery

This Agreement becomes effective upon purchase and payment and remains in effect for the duration of the Client's and Student's access to the course content.

LaunchPoint will grant course access within 2 business days of purchase. If LaunchPoint is unable to meet this timeframe due to unforeseen circumstances, Client will be notified and offered a revised access date or a full refund.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, LaunchPoint Consulting LLC's total liability to Client arising out of or relating to this Agreement or the services provided under this Agreement shall not exceed the amount paid by Client for Self-Paced Story Studio™.

LaunchPoint shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to damages related to admissions outcomes, scholarship decisions, essay direction choices, lost opportunities, lost profits, emotional distress, or other losses arising from or related to use of Self-Paced Story Studio™.

Client acknowledges that participation in LaunchPoint services is voluntary and that all decisions regarding essay direction, college applications, admissions, scholarships, and educational opportunities remain the sole responsibility of Client and Student.

10. Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.

11. Entire Agreement

This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between LaunchPoint and Client regarding the services described herein and supersedes any prior discussions or agreements, written or oral. This Agreement may be amended only in writing signed by both parties.

12. Agreement to Terms

By checking the required agreement box during purchase and completing payment, Client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to be bound by the terms of this Agreement.

Client further acknowledges that they are the parent or legal guardian of the participating Student and have the authority to enter into this Agreement on the Student's behalf.

Electronic acceptance of this Agreement through LaunchPoint's registration and checkout process shall have the same force and effect as a signed writing.
