JUNIOR ALIGN™ SERVICE AGREEMENT
Please read this agreement carefully before purchasing services from LaunchPoint Consulting LLC. By purchasing services from LaunchPoint Consulting LLC, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms outlined below.
Client Services Agreement
This Client Services Agreement ("Agreement") is entered into between LaunchPoint Consulting LLC ("LaunchPoint," "Company," "we," or "us") and the parent or legal guardian completing registration ("Client," "you," or "your") on behalf of the participating student ("Student").
This Agreement becomes effective upon the Client's acceptance of these terms during registration and completion of payment for LaunchPoint services. By registering for Junior Align™, the Client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to be bound by the terms of this Agreement.
1. Scope of Services
Junior Align™ (Strategic Alignment Intensive™) is an individual family strategy session designed to finalize the Student's Strategic Profile™ into a senior-year-ready Strategic Alignment Blueprint™.
The program includes:
LaunchPoint's pre-session review of the Student's existing Strategic Profile™ (or, for Students new to LaunchPoint, an initial profile-building review) and academic transcript
One 60-minute live virtual family strategy session (Student and parent/guardian)
A written Strategic Alignment Blueprint™, academic and leadership roadmap, and positioning recommendations
The goal of the session is to help the Student and family finalize academic direction, evaluate leadership and involvement alignment, discuss career pathway and major exploration, and develop narrative and positioning strategy ahead of senior year.
Services provided through Junior Align™ are limited to the components listed above. Essay coaching, application strategy services, and Common App or supplemental essay support are not included unless purchased separately.
The session is conducted virtually through Google Meet or another platform designated by LaunchPoint.
2. Services Not Included
The following services are not included in Junior Align™ unless purchased separately:
Personal Statement Intensive™ or any personal statement coaching
Common Application strategy, supplemental essay support, or activities section positioning
College selection, college list development, or admissions strategy consulting beyond the positioning recommendations described in Section 1
Ongoing support, additional sessions, or email support beyond the single session described in Section 1
LaunchPoint may offer additional services separately, including the Personal Statement Intensive™ and Common App Strategy & Support. Participation in Junior Align™ does not include or guarantee access to any additional services.
3. Fees and Payment
Client agrees to pay the program fee in effect at the time of registration for Junior Align™.
Payment is due in full at the time of registration. A Student's session is not reserved until payment has been successfully received.
Because LaunchPoint reserves session time for each registered Student, refunds are not available once the session has taken place.
Requests for cancellation prior to the scheduled session may be submitted in writing and will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis at LaunchPoint's sole discretion.
Failure to attend the scheduled session does not automatically entitle Client to a refund, credit, or make-up session. Any requests related to missed sessions will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis at LaunchPoint's sole discretion.
4. No Guarantee of Admission
Client and Student acknowledge and agree that LaunchPoint makes no promise, guarantee, or warranty, express or implied, that working with LaunchPoint will result in admission, acceptance, or any scholarship or other outcome at any college, university, or program. Admissions decisions are made solely by the institutions to which the Student ultimately applies and depend on many factors outside LaunchPoint's control. LaunchPoint's role is limited to the strategy services described in Section 1, and the Fee is paid for the services provided by LaunchPoint, not for any particular admissions result.
5. Client and Student Responsibilities
Client and Student agree to actively participate in the session and complete any required preparation requested by LaunchPoint prior to the session.
Student is responsible for:
Providing academic transcript and any requested materials before the scheduled session
Attending the scheduled session
Reviewing the Strategic Alignment Blueprint™ and recommendations provided by LaunchPoint
Client and Student are solely responsible for ensuring that any decisions made regarding academic planning, extracurricular involvement, or future applications comply with the policies of the Student's school and any institutions to which the Student may later apply.
Failure to provide requested materials prior to the session may limit the effectiveness of the session and the individualized guidance LaunchPoint is able to provide.
6. Ownership of Materials
The Student's reflections, experiences, and ideas remain the Student's property.
All LaunchPoint materials, including but not limited to the Strategic Profile™ and Strategic Alignment Blueprint™ templates, frameworks, worksheets, and instructional resources, remain the sole property of LaunchPoint Consulting LLC.
These materials are provided solely for the personal use of the Client and Student in connection with LaunchPoint services and may not be copied, distributed, reproduced, shared, sold, published, or used for any commercial purpose without the prior written consent of LaunchPoint.
Nothing in this Agreement transfers ownership of LaunchPoint's intellectual property to the Client or Student.
7. Confidentiality
LaunchPoint will make reasonable efforts to maintain the confidentiality of personal, academic, and family information shared by Client or Student in connection with the services provided under this Agreement.
LaunchPoint will not knowingly disclose such information to third parties except:
As reasonably necessary to provide services to the Student;
With the Client's consent;
As required by law; or
As necessary to protect the safety or well-being of the Student or others.
Client and Student acknowledge that electronic communications and virtual meeting platforms, while generally secure, cannot be guaranteed to be completely free from unauthorized access or security risks.
8. Term, Cancellation, and Refunds
This Agreement becomes effective upon registration and payment and remains in effect until the services described in Section 1 have been completed.
LaunchPoint reserves the right to cancel, postpone, or reschedule a session due to illness, emergency, technical issues, or other unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, Client will be offered the option to reschedule or receive a full refund.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, LaunchPoint Consulting LLC's total liability to Client arising out of or relating to this Agreement or the services provided under this Agreement shall not exceed the amount paid by Client for the applicable service.
LaunchPoint shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to damages related to admissions outcomes, scholarship decisions, lost opportunities, lost profits, emotional distress, or other losses arising from or related to participation in LaunchPoint services.
Client acknowledges that participation in LaunchPoint services is voluntary and that all decisions regarding academic planning, college applications, admissions, scholarships, and educational opportunities remain the sole responsibility of Client and Student.
10. Governing Law
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.
11. Entire Agreement
This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between LaunchPoint and Client regarding the services described herein and supersedes any prior discussions or agreements, written or oral. This Agreement may be amended only in writing signed by both parties.
12. Agreement to Terms
By checking the required agreement box during registration and completing payment, Client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to be bound by the terms of this Agreement.
Client further acknowledges that they are the parent or legal guardian of the participating Student and have the authority to enter into this Agreement on the Student's behalf.
Electronic acceptance of this Agreement through LaunchPoint's registration and checkout process shall have the same force and effect as a signed written agreement.
