Jennifer is a former St. Johns County educator and a mom of six who has sent three children through the college process. Heather teaches in St. Johns County today. Our experience in classrooms and with families shapes the way we guide students through planning and applications.

A few things families often ask.
My student is in eighth grade. Where should we start?
The LaunchPoint Path™ serves students in grades 8–10 through the $295 College Strategy Session. St. Johns County families preparing for Academy Nights or Programs of Interest can also start with our free Before You Choose guide.
What options do you have for juniors?
Juniors can start with The Junior Year Advantage™ workbook. When your student is ready to build a college list or prepare application materials, our college application services offer focused support. We do not offer a separate junior strategy service.
What is included in the Premium Senior Package™?
Premium includes College List Strategy™ for up to 12 colleges, Personal Statement Intensive™, Common App Strategy & Support™, support for up to five college application supplemental essays as needed, and LaunchPoint Active Tracking with CounselMore family-portal access. Portal access and active tracking begin January 1, 2027. Other package services may begin earlier according to your agreed timeline.
Can we add tracking to a standalone service?
Yes. LaunchPoint Active Tracking is available as a $199 add-on to eligible standalone senior services, including Personal Statement Intensive™ and Common App Strategy & Support™. It includes CounselMore family-portal access, task and deadline organization, progress checks, and personalized reminders. Access and tracking begin January 1, 2027. The check-in schedule and service end date are confirmed during onboarding. Families remain responsible for verifying requirements and submitting applications and materials on time.
Does this work if my student already has a school counselor?
Yes. School counselors support many students at once. LaunchPoint provides individualized strategy, planning, and application support that complements the guidance your student receives at school.
What if we did not start planning early?
You can start wherever your student is now. Earlier planning creates more time for intentional choices, but we focus on the decisions that still matter from this point forward.
What if we are not ready to commit to a larger service?
St. Johns County families preparing for high school can start with the free Academy Guide. Juniors can download The Junior Year Advantage™ workbook. Seniors who have drafted application materials can start with the $29 Common App Quick Check. You can also explore our free planning resources.
Do you only work with St. Johns County families?
No. We work virtually with families outside St. Johns County as well. LaunchPoint is rooted in St. Johns County classrooms, but our college planning and application services support students wherever they live. Our Academy Nights and Programs of Interest resources are specifically designed for St. Johns County families.
Does this help if my student's grades are not top-tier?
Yes. College strategy is not only for students with perfect grades. We help families understand what matters for their student, identify appropriate options, and present the student's experiences and strengths accurately.
